Brush Challenge

Have you ever played around with brushes? They’re actually quite fun to play with. Brushes can give a very artsy feeling or, depending on the brush, add some whimsical feeling to your page. I’ve seen brushes that are shabby, fancy, beautiful, cutesy, etc.

We wanted to have a challenge to give you the excuse to pull out your brushes and use them!

We would love to see what ways you love to use your brushes — or any experimentation you would like to try!

Please join us in the Brush Challenge by doing the following:

1. Create your own layout with any kit you love using any brush you love.

2. Post your individual pages in the Brush Challenge Gallery.

3. Leave some love on the other pages and cards in the gallery. (Not required but highly encouraged!)

This challenge is open for approximately 2 weeks. It will officially be closed to new entries on the night of February 3rd, 2013 at midnight (Pacific Time).

We will announce the winner and post the winning layout here on the Digital Scrapper Blog, our Facebook page, and in our forum within a week of the challenge end date. The winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to our Digital Scrapper Shop that can be used towards Photoshop Elements & Adobe Photoshop Video Tutorials and awesome kits and templates! Favorite Winter Activity Winner

Some helpful tips to get you started:

You might find it helpful to choose one template to use for the whole year.Check out the Project 12 Template Set No. 1 available in our Digital Scrapper Store.Give yourself permission to use as many or as few photos as you want, whether it be four or ten or even just one!Make it a one-page layout or a two-page spread. You can keep it simple or get as ambitious as you like! And you don’t have to stick with just one page or spread per month if you really want to do more.Not every month will have remarkable events. No problem! Scrap the simple things — such as a gift you may have received, or a movie you saw, or something that your children or grandchildren said that made you laugh! Changes underway

How the blog design and trends industry to change, has to be flexible to Louise Frank's designs and fit the changing needs of our customers and readers. It's been a few years since the last round of major changes, and in a few weeks, we will introduce some slightly less dramatic changes.

Yes, Louise Frank's designs are things tightening and moving into our new home at louisefranksdesigns.com!  Visually, a huge change is not really shown; the theme is the same, and you know you are on my blog, but should be easier to find the information.

The rest of this post is and tries to answer a few questions; You have all other requests please simply via email or a comment.

Transfer the tutorials?

I transmitted only the newer tutorials are relevant to blogger newer (i.e. simple) style sheets. WordPress and blog design tutorials, which are still relevant, are also about to be copied.

Are you create new tutorials?

Yes, occasionally, when my workload. However, I will not provide guidance for the older blogger template formats (eg minima) create as the number of people who constantly reduced with these templates.

Transfer the freebies?

Some of the newer freebies the older, not transmitted but. There are 2 reasons; First of all, that I have limited time to do it and 2, there many dead of blogs out there still receive visitors and eat up my bandwidth. Removing the templates sometimes, it reduces my bandwidth and operating costs.

Are you create more freebies?

Some occasionally seitenfelderstellung, but most of my freebies being given away in my newsletter.  If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter, you do so here. Also this keeps my bandwidth costs low and allows me to contact people directly if there are templates in the retirement due.

'Ll can I buy still graphics from your shop?

Yes, my shop is still here and should be even easier to navigate! I'll add also my pre-made templates and themes in the store, so that you can pay, if you order, and not wait until I need to send you an invoice.

Will you sell your pre-made templates and designs?

Yes, and I also create more of them. I'll be a range, which can be directly downloaded and installed by you simply create (instructions are, but are recorded). This gives you more control over your own blog makeover and means that you can almost immediately a new design.

Do I have my bookmarks to update?

Yes, you are, but I claim you advanced warning if the new website to live broadcast.

Do I need my RSS and email subscriptions to update?

Yes offer we give you some simple instructions how to do this as soon as we can tell you the official launch date.

What happens to the old site?

The old site is still active, but an archive for content, the user transferred is no longer. Some posts are no longer needed, will be deleted.

When can we get the new website?

The new site is expected to "Life on the 1st-14th Feb go". There is still much to be done, depends on the rate with which it is completed I ordered couple of weeks how many rush get in the next. I'll let you closer to the time to know.

Here is a quick explanation of how the project 12 has worked:

Create a digital scrapbooking layout every month that highlights that month activities or experiences, then our project 12 Balton to collect 2012!

Go check out the project 12, 2012 gallery today! And when you put your layout up, don't forget to head on over to the Forum project 12, 2012 and post a link on your page, so everyone can check it out.

Here we are at the end of project 12 for 2012! It is a great success with over 550 pages uploaded to our gallery! Each month we feature many provisions 12 work here on the blog, and these pages have such an inspiration for the rest of us.

How to Center your page tabs in blogger

Here’s a quick tutorial to show you how to center your page tabs in Blogger. This technique only works if you’re using the “Pages” gadget. Please backup your template before making any changes!

1. In your Dashboard click on “Template”

2. Click on “Customize”

3. In the template designer, click on “Advanced” and “Add CSS” and add the following code to the box:

.PageList {text-align:center !important;}.PageList li {display:inline !important; float:none !important;}

It should look like this:

4. Be sure to press enter after you paste the code. Finally click on “Apply to Blog” in the upper right hand corner and you’re done!
